Due Date? January 14, 2014
How big is baby? Our Bryleigh Girl is approximately the size of a butternut squash, 15.25 in long and 2.5 pounds
Maternity clothes? Yep - enjoying some of both still.
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleeping? I want to sleep ALL. THE. TIME!!! I slept 11 hours Saturday night, took a 4 hour nap Sunday morning/afternoon, rested that evening and was seriously ready for bed by 8:30! Between that much sleep and how sick I was on Saturday, we are pretty sure she was growing something really important over the weekend! ;)
Miss anything? Just feeling normal and comfortable...but I don't mind a bit!!
Movement? This was a tough week. Bryleigh moved up and into my back earlier this week, and it made her movements feel quite a bit different. At some points, I couldn't feel them at all. I noticed on Sunday that I looked smaller than I had, my stomach felt different, and even my belly button looked almost normal...I could tell that I wasn't feeling her movements in the same way. It was a long three days, but by Wednesday her movements were getting back to normal and I was able to feel her move periodically.
Food cravings? Still loving the cinnamon! I could eat an entire block of cheese (if I didn't get so full so fast!), and although I didn't have any this week...Hopkins County Stew still sounds the best to me!
Food aversions? I was a little on the sicker/more nauseas side this weekend, and super sick on Saturday, which meant most food didn't sound good for a while.
Gender predictions? All things PINK for us! :)
Symptoms? Restlessness...at night. Around 9:30 or so each night, I just feel like I can't get comfortable. There are lots of different feelings going on with it - sometimes it feels like tiny needles stabbing my legs, arms, and back, other times it feels like my muscles are having spasms, but it always leads to me kicking and flailing around. (Probably not Brad's favorite symptom/side effect of this pregnancy...especially when it starts after we are in bed!!)
Belly button – in or out? All the way back in...but she is in a totally different position right now.
Wedding rings – on or off? On
Mood? Doing good :)
Labor signs? Nope.
Best moment this week? There was lots of fun this week too...I've really enjoyed and cherished my time with my sweet hubby lately. It's something I'm always thankful for, but with our schedules and life being the way it is right now, we get a lot of time together. I don't take fore granted the fact that one day this past week he wanted to grab and icee and candy bar, and we were able to just get out for a minute and do that together...not to mention the weather was beautiful that day, so we spent some time on the back porch soaking it all in!
I also enjoy running errands with him. I saved some errands I had wanted to run until he got off work on Thursday, and I definitely enjoyed that time with him too! I'm so thankful that he is as into this pregnancy as I am, and I LOVE how excited he is about our little girl. We ended up getting a few things for next Halloween super cheap since Halloween was officially on clearance!
On Friday evening, we were able to celebrate my birthday at Ruth's Chris in Fort Worth, which is how I officially want to celebrate my birthday EVERY year! :)
We ended up our week with our very first class at Baylor to get us ready for Miss B...and thankfully, we only have one more! Between waking up extremely sick, staying extremely nauseated throughout the day, and having to watch "the videos" - I saw all I needed to see! We did learn a LOT about how Baylor Hospital does things during the birth and recovery, and we got lots of questions answered and good tips, so it was definitely worth going.
Looking forward to? We certainly have another busy week coming up with lots to look forward to: an appointment on Wednesday with Dr. Heckman (he's one of the other doctors in the practice with Dr. Harris) followed by some time with Brad in Frisco, Thursday is the Baylor/OU game...a house divided...two top 10 teams...(I just DON'T want to talk about it or think about it right now...), I'm heading to Sulphur Springs on Friday while Brad goes to a Bachelor party, and then we have a shower in Sulphur Springs on Saturday - which I'm SO looking forward to. It's not too often you get so many of your very favorite people in one place!! We'll be ending the week with a Chili supper with our small group on Sunday evening, and Brad has ALL day Monday off!! (I love bank holidays!!)
And on that note, I'd like to leave you with my favorite video ever of my sweet little nephew...
"Thank you God for this day and this food. Amen." Tate, age 2 :)
