I also had lots of people asking how things are going. Honestly, they are pretty much the same. I am still getting sick daily, I have to be really careful about what/how much and when I eat, and I feel nauseas about 85-90% of the time. It IS getting better because I used to get sick off and on all day, could barely eat anything, and was nauseas 100% of the time, so for that I am extremely thankful. Knowing that Baby Hammons is healthy no matter how I feel or how sick I get is such a comfort to me. I'm starting to get used to all the nausea, so we've been able to ease back in to some things (like church, bible study and hanging out with friends occasionally), but those days are normally followed by days where I take 2 and 3 naps. I am so thankful for all of the prayers and encouragement from our friends and family! All in all, I am just SO thankful to have any kind of pregnancy experience, and I know this is truly a blessing from God!!
How far along? 15 weeks
Due Date? January 14, 2014
How big is baby? Baby H is the size of an apple, almost 4.0 inches long and 2.5 ounces
Total weight gain? I had gained 2 pounds at my appointment on Monday, but lost 3 this week...
Maternity clothes? Nope (And no, I'm not showing. At All. I got lots of long looks at church today of people wondering where it was! I'm ready for that "pop" to happen!!)
Stretch marks? None
Sleeping? Forget sleeping...let's talk about these DREAMS! Where in the world do these come from?? (I don't remember details, but Charles Barkley was in Friday night's and Kelly Ripa was in Saturday night's...Yea, like I said - CRAZY!) Still waking up off and on during the night, and then falling into a more restful sleep early in the morning. (And I STILL love naps!)
Miss anything? NO because I finally gave in to my craving and hubby took me to Snuffers! I'll practice self control from now on, but it was worth it! ;)
Movement? I think I've felt a few flutters, but I'm well aware that it could be "other" things!
Food aversions? Not huge on meats right now, no deli meat and most of the time no chicken. I've eaten a few burgers, but those normally start to gross me out about 1/4 of the way through. (Have I mentioned I love cheeseburgers?!)
Gender predictions? I catch myself referring to "Him" and "He" as I'm telling stories...
Symptoms? Nothing new here - sick at least once a day, nauseas all day, insanely aware of all smells around me...
Belly button – in or out? In
Wedding rings – on or off? On
Mood? I'd say just right :)
Labor signs? Nope.
Best moment this week? Brad getting to experience the heart beat in person for the first time...and going to Snuffers :) Oh, and we made our next appointment - A sono to find out if we'll be Team PINK or Team BLUE! (Our appointment is on Monday, August 19th, we'll do pictures on Tuesday, August 20th, and then have friends and family over for a Gender Reveal Party on Sunday, August 25th!!)
Looking forward to? Mailing out our Gender Reveal Invitations, I LOVE how they turned out, and spending time this week getting our props ready for the gender reveal photo shoot we are doing.
