Bricked and Stoned

Obviously we have had quite the eventful week.  There were several times in the hospital that we talked about how excited we were to see what progress had been made...we knew it would be a lot!

Brad got a call yesterday from Republic Alarm that they needed to meet us pretty soon at the house to go over the alarm system and the options we could include.  We set up a meeting for this morning at 10:00 and got a little more than we bargained for when we pulled up!  Not only was all the brick done, but so was the stone...but the "more than we bargained for" part was the flat tire Brad got when we were somewhere along 161.  It definitely made the day a little longer than expected, but thankfully we made it to the house before it went flat.

We were excited to learn from our meeting that our awesome friend, Anthony, has gifted us with a touch screen monitor for our home security system!  It can be monitored (armed, disarmed, etc) from an app on our iphones.  I am a girl that LOVES technology, so this was an awesome surprise for us!

This is actually the secondary monitor.  Ours will
look a little different.
It's hard to believe we are already in November.  It seems like we just started this process, but here we are - in the month that the house will officially be completed!  There were lots of changes made to the house over the past week, and we can't wait to go back next week and see how much more gets completed this week.
