34 Weeks and FROZEN!

How far along? 34 weeks! Can't believe there's only 6 weeks (or less) until we get to meet our sweet girl!

Due Date? January 14, 2014 (I am good with any day AFTER January 1)

How big is baby? Bryleigh is about the size of an average cantaloupe or 17.75 inches long and about 4.75 pounds.

Maternity clothes? Yep!

Stretch marks? Same ones are still there...no new ones :)

Sleeping? The un-fun sleeping hasn't changed much.  It's just hard to get comfortable.  I did have a few nights that I was able to sleep the whole night...one of them might have been thanks to a drug-induced coma!

Miss anything? Not missing too much...other than having a normal body :)

Movement? She's definitely wearing me out with all her movement, but I wouldn't change a thing.  It's so comforting to feel that going on and knowing that she is okay!!

Food cravings? Christmas Trees.  Cheese. Cinnamon.  (Due to the Ice Storm that rolled in last week, Brad ran to the store on Thursday afternoon for "the essentials" - you know, cheez-its, sprite, and milky ways... I failed to think of things like butter, cheese and Christmas Trees...but he was able to pick those up on Saturday night when he went to dinner with his parents!  It's really hard to get "essentials" for a woman that is 34 weeks pregnant! I mean, seriously...the cravings needs change by the hour!

Food aversions? I haven't been super hungry the last week or so, but haven't been turned off from anything either.

Gender predictions? Girl!

Symptoms? The "restless leg body syndrome" has just about sent me over the edge, and there is some sort of pain going on in my right side/chest (might have mentioned that before) - these two things coupled with the fact that I get braxton hicks contractions every time I try to walk has me ready for this little girl to be HERE!  I mentioned both at our doctor's appointment last week and he basically said I'm out of luck with these two things and just going to have to deal with them :/

Belly button – in or out? Depends on where Miss B is, but mostly in or flat...it pokes out a little from time to time.

Wedding rings – on or off? I currently have on the wedding band I wore while I was in Moldova

Mood? Doing pretty good! (Most of the time...)

Labor signs? Silly contractions here and there, but none over all.

Best moment(s) this week? This week was a bit of a slow one thanks to Icemageddon 2013...or the Icepocalypse, whichever one you prefer, it basically meant that we were iced in with no where to go!

We had our 34 week appointment with Dr. Gaitonde, so we have now officially worked with or met each of the doctor's in Dr. Harris' practice.  We LOVED Dr. G.

While we were iced in and getting cabin fever, we decided to go ahead and get the Christmas decorations down and we officially have our tree up! There are no decorations on it yet, but it's up! Baby steps...things take a lot more effort these days, and I get tired a lot easier.

In order to get the tree up, we had to do some rearranging, which ended up causing some contractions, so I have been pretty much down for the count and taking it easy since then.  Thankfully, the tree came out of the box looking pretty good, and we didn't have to do much "fluffing" at all!  I am so thankful for my helpful hubby!!

Another highlight of the week would DEFINITELY have to be watching the amazing ending to the OU game and then watching the Bears win the Big 12 Championship!!  It was the PERFECT way to close out Floyd Casey Stadium, and I'm so excited my brother got to be there to witness it all!

Looking forward to? Poor Brad has an extremely busy work week (It's 7:00 Monday night and he's STILL working today...not to mention he worked until about 6:00 yesterday), but we also have an appointment with a pediatrician and his work Christmas party on Thursday.

This is also a big week for Bryleigh's Mimi - it's her birthday (and her anniversary with Pappy two days later)!!  We're hoping they'll get to come down for a little bit this weekend during their celebrating :)
