33 Weeks and Thankfully Thankful!

Last year I posted my 30 days of thanks here, and I'd have to say they are things I'm still just as thankful for today...including a few others.  I think it's pretty safe to say that the obvious one not on that list would be the sweet little miracle that is growing in my belly right now.  This time last year...I would have HOPED to be here today, but I certainly had no idea we really would be!  We can't wait to meet our little turkey!

How far along? 33 weeks

Due Date? January 14, 2014 (I am good with just about any day AFTER January 1.)

How big is baby? Bryleigh is about the size of a pineapple 17 inches long (and I can feel every inch from the tops of my ribs to the bottom of my hips!) and about 4.25 pounds.

Maternity clothes? Yep!

Stretch marks? Ugh. Yes.  A few popped up the day after Thanksgiving.

Sleeping? Really, sleep is my least favorite thing right now...I just can't seem to get comfortable these days.

Miss anything? Being comfortable...she's starting to fill up her "little area" and it just makes things uncomfortable.

Movement? She's still a crazy little mover, going nonstop and all over the place.

Food cravings? Honestly not craving much these days.

Food aversions? I'm better with bread (Thankfully...how horrible would Thanksgiving have been without Sister Schubert's rolls?!)...Not craving or avoiding anything, but not much sounds good these days.

Gender predictions? Can't wait to meet our beautiful baby girl.

Symptoms? Nothing new here.

Belly button – in or out? In

Wedding rings – on or off? I've had them off since the end of Thanksgiving day, but can still wear them.

Mood? I'm just counting my blessings, so thankful for all that God has blessed me with.  I'm sure I've had "the pregnancy attitude" over the past week, but doing pretty good!

Labor signs? Nope.

Best moment(s) this week? We started off Thanksgiving with dinner and a movie out in Mansfield.  I was SO excited to finally get to see The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and it definitely didn't disappoint! Brad hasn't read the books yet, so watching his reactions to everything was so much fun.  (He's ready to read them now, and I've recommended he read the Divergent trilogy too...so that he's ready for March!)

Brad and I celebrated Thanksgiving Day with Brad's parents, sister, grandparents, and aunt along with some of his grandma's family.  It's always so good seeing them and catching up (and the food isn't too bad either).  Following lunch, Brad and his dad headed to the Cowboys game and I drove on to my aunt and uncle's house where I met up with my parents and some of my mom's family for the evening.

We also celebrated our first Thanksgiving in our home this year, and we are certainly so thankful for the Lord's provision in our lives.  He has blessed us beyond what we ever imagined and have certainly enjoyed the past year in our home!!

I have to admit that we were some of those out on Thanksgiving evening doing some shopping! This was mine and my mom's first year to ever do Black Friday shopping, and I'd have to say it was a great experience...nothing too crazy, and nothing too crowded!  My dad and Brad joined us for our stops on Thursday night, and then we headed out alone on Thursday morning.

Ready to head out for our FIRST ever
Black Friday shopping trip!

After wrapping up our shopping, we packed up the cars and headed east for the weekend where we spent time with my family.  It sure was fun pulling up to my parent's house and being greeted by the sweetest, cutest 2 year old there is!  There was a trip to Ta Molly's, some Phase 10, a girls trip to Canton for 1st Monday while the boys lit up Mimi's house with Christmas lights, time with my dad's parents, and LOTS of loving on Tate and Olivia.

Miss Olivia's first trip to First Monday!
She shopped and dropped...a few times!

Tate up on the ladder, helping with Mimi's lights...
and the after effects of working so hard!

A nice little view into my future ;) And a trip to SS for Maw Maw and Paw Paw to meet sweet Miss Olivia!

These two are ALWAYS up to something!

I'd say Mimi and Pappy were in heaven over the weekend!! Next Thanksgiving, their arms will be FULL!

Looking forward to? We have an appointment tomorrow to kick off week 34, and we'll be spending the next week(s) decorating for Christmas, finishing up our shopping, and cleaning the house for the holidays/Bryleigh's arrival!!  Not to mention the lengthy to-do list we have to get ready for our girl!

The (only) current Christmas decorations that are out at our house! :)
